Purple Finch Press is a reputable alternative to self-publishing. If accepted for publication by Purple Finch, your novel will have a home with a respected publishing house that maintains a reputation for developing only the finest of independent literary voices.

We accept unsolicited works in the genres of Young Adult, Science Fiction, Fantasy and Literary Fiction. Purple Finch Press only accepts twelve manuscripts a year for publication through a highly competitive and stringent selection process.

To submit, use the email link below to send us the first ten double-spaced pages of your manuscript as a word.doc attachment, with your name, email address and phone number in the header of each page. Use Times New Roman, font size twelve. All submissions will receive a personal response within two weeks.

If a full manuscript is requested, please ensure it is proofread to professional standards before submission.
